Q:  How does "Trade your phone" work?

1. Find your phone you wish to trade-in  from the "Trade Your Phone" section.

2. Add the new phone you want to purchase from the "Buy New Phone" section.

3. Check out and submit your order. Be sure to print the order invoice. Pack your phone along with the order invoice and send them to us. After we receive your used  phone, we will ship the new phone to you within 24-48hrs.


Q:   Do I need to send you my used phone to complete the trade order?

Yes. We will not process your trade order until we received your Trade-In used phone. After you submitted the trade order, you will receive a confirmation email with the instruction on how to ship your trade in phone to our company. Please keep in mind that you must ship the trade in phone to us in order to complete your trade order. Once we received your phone we will start to process your order and your order will be shipped out with 48 hours.

TradeMyPhone.com will not be responsible for any lost or stolen package. We strongly recommend all customers to insure their package before mailing to us. TradeMyPhone.com and its owners or employees will NOT be responsible for any missing or stolen contents in the package.


Q:   The phone I plan to trade is damaged and cannot be turned on. Can I still trade it?

All handset(s) must be in working condition. They will power-up and make a test call. They will not be crushed, water damaged or have broken LCD's. Cases should be complete and unbroken. All handset(s) must have a valid ESN/IMEI Number. If the cellular phone(s) do not meet the "acceptable condition" requirements explained above, they may be returned at the request and the expense of the owner. Cellular phones not requested to be returned, will be disposed of within 14 days.

If the trade in cellular phone(s) do not meet the "acceptable condition" requirements explained below. We will email you immideately and ask you if you want to cancel the order. If you request a order cancellation, we will send you back your trade in phone and a $20 shipping/service fee will be charged. Please make sure your trade in phone is in working condition and meet our "acceptable condition" requirment.


Q:  How does "Cash your phone" work?

1.  Find your phone you wish to turn to cash from the "Cash Your Phone" section.

2.  Complete the form and ship the phone to us with a print out of the form.

3.  We will send you a check within 30 days after we received your phone.


Q:  I don't know my phone's model. Is there any way I can identify my phone model?

To identify the model of your cell phone, remove the battery and locate the white ID Tag on the back of the phone.
The Model Number is listed on this tag. Click on the cell phone below that matches the Model Number of your phone.

Some Motorola cell phones do have their Model Number listed.  If you can't find the Model Number, call Motorola at
1-888-390-6456.  They will help you identify the Model Number of your cell phone, based on the ESN Number.


Q:   How can I check the status of my order?

It's simple. Just log in to your account with your email address and password. Then Click on the order # to check your order status.


Q: What is your return  policies?

We only offer store credits for all returns. We do not refund money, no exceptions. A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all returns. The equipment must be returned as original with all components within the box. It must be like new condition without any kind of cosmetic or internal damage to the unit and it's components. The equipment must be returned within 5 calendar days. A copy of the invoice must be included with your return.  At our discretion, we may decline your return or charge you a fee for missing items or items that we determine are damages or require service. These charges will be charged to the customer's credit card without need for further approval from the customer.
